Selkirk Glass was established in 1977 by Peter Holmes and Ron Hutchinson but unfortunately the parent company went into liquidation in July 2007. This hand blown figurine in the shape of an Owl is in two tone blue and white within a clear glass shell. The base is freehand diamond point engraved ‘Selkirk Glass Scotland 1989’ and also carries the remains of a paper ‘Handmade in Scotland SG’ label. Height 4 1/16th inches (11 cm) Width 2 3/8th inches (6 cm) at the shoulder.
