Ponchito Guinea Pig

‘Ponchito Guinea Pig’ was introduced as a limited edition of 2500 exclusive to The Royal Crown Derby Company in April 2008. Modelled and decorated by John Ablitt the original (general range, also introduced in 2008 and in current production) Guinea Pig had a different patterned and coloured Poncho.

The base carries the RCD gold stopper together with an under glaze transfer printed RCD  crest, the model name ‘Ponchito’, MMVIII (date code for 2008), the decorators monogram and the inscription ‘One of a Limited Edition of 1250 This is No. 237 © 2007 ROYAL CROWN DERBY MADE IS ENGLAND’. Complete with original box and certificate. Height 2 ¾ inches (6.9 cm) Length 4 ¾ inches (12 cm)
