From the Caithness Whitefriars Collection ‘Latticino Posy’ paperweight by Allan Scott. It is a standard globular shaped weight containing a lamp-worked posy of mauve and yellow flowers with buds and leaves of green, nestling in a basket of white latticino lace. A blue and white ‘Hooded Monk’ cane included at centre bottom. The paperweight was released in 1999 as a limited edition (fully subscribed) of 50 pieces, this being #33. The base is freehand diamond point inscribed Whitefriars Latticino Posy Caithness Scotland 33-50
