Made sometime during the late 19th or early 20th century a perfume bottle made from a tiger’s fang. Probably English the fangs were imported from India or Africa. It has a gold metal (possibly pinchbeck*) engraved mount complete with suspension chain and cork stopper within a similar gold coloured metal engraved top attached by a chain to the upper mount. Overall length approx. 3 ½ inches (9 cm)
*Pinchbeck - an alloy of copper and zinc proportionately mixed to resemble gold in appearance. After a London clock maker, one Christopher Pinchbeck, invented in the 1700’s
